Description

This is an environment pack meant to build strongholds, castles & medieval villages.

With near 1.400 prefabs and a big bunch of assets you can build in many levels of customization: starting from basic shapes to complete pre-built houses. With the texture & material libraries you can modify the lookup of the pieces to make them fit the best with your game lookup.
The pack comes with a big “Props & Decoration” library including wood trunks, carpets, fabric, flags, frames, furniture, containers, barrels, libraries, boxes, piles, sacks, lighting assets, vessels, weapons, shields, books, tools, particle effects, and more.

Also included tiled streets & walls 10x10 sized to work easily creating the city floor.
There are some free content included in the pack ( WeaponMaster character lite, some nature assets from Essential Terrain Pack, texture libraries, shader libraries, Top/Down control scripts, and others).

With the Stronghold Pack library of assets and using the free additional content you can build a playable Top/Down or FPS/3rd person style level like the demo scene included in the pack.

Stronghold 1.7 update includes some lookup upgrades such new shaders & new HQ detail textures. Also TopDown control system has been updated. Now includes new controls & some issues with collisions fixed.

But the really noticeable update comes with the new assets. Aside from the new decoration assets, the pack includes now a lot of prefabs to build streets and different height levels. To better show this new features includes also a new demoscene.

HOTFIX (v1.6): STANDARD ASSETS SCRIPT ISSUE

If your project shows up some missing references errors in the scripts you probably  have some troubles with the Unity's Standard Assets included. In this case you should reimport all included assests: Cameras, CrossPlatformImput & Image Effects. If you keep finding any troubles with effects try reimport Cinematic Image Effects (free from Unity at the UAStore)

As I was aware of the high complexity of the old shaders and their heavy weight on graphic card I’ve decided to create a new shader pack optimized and clean fully compatible with Unity built-in properties and including new features as Relief (only works on DX11) or IBL simulation. With these new optimized shaders the pack becomes mobile friendly

 

In 1.2 you’ll find included the new “Standar Basic & Detail shaders” that includes features as the following:

*Mobile Friendly: Demoscene has been tested on android platform (OnePlus One) and works pretty fine. I cannot say it will work on every mobile, and it will probably run fast only in high end devices.
